Our curriculum is based on hands-on learning. Through an immersive classroom experience, you will dive into in-demand technologies like Excel, Python, JavaScript (D3.js, Leaflet.js), HTML5/CSS, API interactions, SQL, Tableau, fundamental statistics, machine learning, Git/GitHub, and more. Collaborating with your classmates and also working individually, you’ll take your new skills and put them to use on comprehensive projects. These projects allow you to build a professional portfolio that showcases your skills to stand out in today’s data-driven job market. How to apply to The Data Analytics Boot Camp
  1. Submit form. Fill out the contact form and select the program you’re interested in to request more information.
  2. Interview and application. An admissions team member will connect with you to discuss program details and answer any questions you may have. Then, you will fill out a short application.
  3. Assessment. Complete a basic multiple-choice critical thinking and problem-solving assessment. No prior industry knowledge is required.
  4. Enrolment. Once you are accepted into the program, you will determine which financial option is right for you. Secure your seat by signing your enrolment agreement and paying your deposit.
The Data Analytics Boot Camp schedule

Part-time data analytics program

  • Length: 24 weeks
  • Schedule: Classes are held three days a week on a convenient part-time schedule, speak with admissions for details.

No programming experience is required, however it is recommended that applicants hold a bachelor’s degree or have at least two years of experience in business, management, finance, statistics, or a related field.

No, applicants to The Data Analytics Boot Camp do not need to be students of The University of Western Australia. This program is offered through The University of Western Australia in partnership with edX.

The cost of the part-time program is $12,000 excluding GST.* A six-month interest-free payment plan is available for flexible installments.

Interest-free ZeeFi 24-month payment plan: Learners can apply for this extended payment plan option. A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your seat in class. The rest of the tuition will be split into twenty-four equal monthly payments.

Module 1: Excel crash course


Description:

Learn to do more with Microsoft Excel. In this module, we’ll cover advanced topics like statistical modeling, forecasting and prediction, pivot tables, and VBA scripting. You’ll even learn to model historic stock trends — and hopefully, learn to beat the market!

Module 2: Python data analytics


Description:

Gain a strong foothold in one of today’s fundamental programming languages. In the course of this module, you’ll gain deep proficiencies with core Python, data analytics tools like NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and specific libraries for interacting with web data like Requests and Beautiful Soup.
